**Note: due to the bad weather we are extending the deadline for hygiene kits until Friday Feb. 12th.**
To assemble a Hygiene Kit you will need:
- One hand towel measuring approximately 16″ x 28″ (no fingertip or bath towels)
- One washcloth
- One wide-tooth comb
- One nail clipper (no metal files or
emery boards) - One bar of soap (bath size in wrapper)
- One toothbrush (in original packaging)
- Six Band-Aids®
- $1 for shipping, $1 for toothpaste
*All Items must be new. Please do not add toothpaste to the Hygiene Kit. Toothpaste that has an extended expiration date will be added to Hygiene Kit shipments just prior to shipment. Seal all items in a one-gallon plastic bag with a zipper closure.
All kits can be dropped off at OLSL EUC 214. The last day we will be accepting kits will be Friday Feb. 12th.
Can we also assist with domestic relief as well.
Perhaps, contact local homeless shelters to find their needs (ie. socks and towels).
Then participants can match both needs with the hygiene kits for Haiti and homeless shelter items.
This will allow us to serve both domestically and internationally in a collaborative way.
